Celebrating 100 Years of Football in the Village

We’re thrilled to announce the full plans for Upper Beeding FC’s Centenary Day, a landmark event celebrating a century of grassroots football, community pride, and club history.

Join us for a full day of football, food, music, and family fun—including our long-awaited Legends Match, bringing together former UBFC heroes and Steyning greats in a nostalgic clash of local icons.

Whether you're a former player or volunteer, young footballer, or simply a member of the village who wants to be part of something special—this is your chance to join the celebration.

What to Expect on the Day:

• 9:00am – Cubs Football Session (ages 2–6) – free and open to all!

• 11:00am – Under-11s Match

• 1:00pm – UBFC XI vs Henfield XI – a centenary fixture with local pride at stake

• 3:00pm – UBFC Legends vs Steyning Legends – a reunion of club heroes, back in action!

• 7:00pm onwards – Live Music & Entertainment at The Rising Sun

Throughout the day you’ll also find:

• A fully stocked Horse Box Bar

• BBQ by Steyning Butchers

• Bouncy Castle & Kids Zone

• Local stalls and fundraisers, including one by our cricket club friends
